Current relevance:
The Union Health Minister is set to launch
Aarogya Setu 2.0 along with several digital health initiatives under
the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) to strengthen India's
Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI).
Highlights:
1.
Aarogya Setu 2.0:
Revamped
as a comprehensive Personal Health Record (PHR) application, serving as
a single digital gateway for accessing multiple healthcare services.
2.
Citizen-Centric Digital Services:
The application enables users to:
(i)
Create and manage ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health
Account).
(ii)
Exchange health information through a consent-based
mechanism.
(iii)
Receive AI-powered health insights and smart health
reports.
3.
Integrates PM-JAY services, providing easy
access to empanelled hospitals, the digital wallet, Ayushman CAPF benefits, and
healthcare services.
4.
Ayushman Sarathi: A WhatsApp chatbot for
PM-JAY beneficiaries, Provides scheme-related information through a
conversational interface.
5.
National Health Claims Exchange (NHCX): Establishes a Digital
Public Infrastructure for health insurance claims.
6.
e-Sushrut Clinic: A plug-and-play digital clinic
management platform that streamlines healthcare operations and clinical
workflows.
