Recently, A successful training launch of
a medium-range ballistic missile, Agni-1 was carried out by the Strategic
Forces Command from APJ Abdul Kalam Island, Odisha.

is Agni-1 prime missile?

It is a nuclear capable ballistic missile.
●
The “training launch” of the Agni-1, was
conducted by the tri-service Strategic Forces Command.
●
Strike range of the missile is 700 km.
●
It is capable of striking targets with a
very high degree of precision.

It was developed by the Defence Research and Development Organization.
