Team India delivered an outstanding performance at the Global Skills Challenge (GSC) Australia 2026, winning 5 medals (3 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze) ahead of the 48th WorldSkills Competition 2026 in Shanghai, China.

Global Skills Challenge 2026:

1.         The Global Skills Challenge (GSC) is an international skill competition organised as a preparatory event for the WorldSkills Competition.

2.       The event provides young skilled professionals with international exposure, technical benchmarking, and practical experience, strengthening their readiness for the 48th WorldSkills Competition 2026 in Shanghai, China.

3.       Team India won 5 medals (3 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze), showcasing India's growing strength in advanced manufacturing, digital technologies, creative industries, and service-sector skills.

4.       Indian Medal Winners:

(i)     Pavan Bhadravati Suresha (Karnataka): Gold – Additive Manufacturing

(ii)   Mausam Kumar Giri (Bihar): Gold – Cloud Computing

(iii) Vishnupriya Sunil (Delhi): Gold – Health and Social Care

(iv) Harsh Ramesh Pawar (Maharashtra): Silver – 3D Digital Game Art

(v)  Muskan (Haryana): Bronze – Painting and Decorating
