Radhakrishnan launched ‘Gnani Artha’, a sovereign AI stack developed by
GNANI AI, at Uprashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, on 28 August 2026.

About Gnani Artha:
1.
Sovereign AI Stack: Gnani Artha is described as a sovereign
AI stack developed by GNANI AI.
2.
Two Components: It comprises Evon 3.3 and
Plexus.
3.
Evon 3.3: A Large Language Model (LLM) forming the
intelligence component of the stack.
4.
Plexus: A platform designed to connect AI intelligence
with real-world work and institutions.
5. Indigenous
Capability: The initiative demonstrates the ability of Indian engineers to build
frontier technologies, rather than merely use them.
Sovereign AI & Technological Self-Reliance:
1.
Sovereign Capability: The launch highlights the
importance of developing sovereign AI capabilities to strengthen India's
technological and strategic autonomy.
2.
Creator Economy: India should move beyond being
merely a consumer of technology towards becoming a creator of
technology.
3.
Domestic Capability: Indigenous technological
development can reduce dependence on external technological ecosystems.
4.
Strategic Autonomy: Building domestic capabilities

AI in Governance – Digital Sansad:

Digital Sansad enables parliamentary debates
and papers to be accessed in multiple Indian languages.
2.
AI-based simultaneous interpretation was introduced in eight
languages during the recently concluded Session of Parliament.
3.
The facility is expected to be expanded to all
Scheduled Languages.
4. This demonstrates the
potential of AI to improve linguistic accessibility of parliamentary
information and proceedings.
AI, Employment & Economic Growth:
1.
The
emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) was compared with the earlier growth
and widespread adoption of computers and information technology.
2.
Initial concerns that computers would replace
employment were followed by the IT sector creating numerous employment
opportunities in India and abroad.
3.
Similarly, AI is expected to create new avenues of
employment and growth.
4. AI therefore has the
potential to contribute to taking India's economic progress to the next
stage.
