About International MSME Day:

The day was designated by the United Nations General Assembly through a resolution adopted in 2017.
2. International MSME Day is observed every
year on 27 June to recognize the
significant contribution of Micro, Small
and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to economic growth, employment generation,
innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development across the world.
3. Theme (2026): "Human-Centered Entrepreneurship in
an AI-Driven Future."
Role of MSMEs:
It represents
first-generation entrepreneurs, youth aspirations, women entrepreneurs and
resilient small businesses.
