This operation is not merely a military offensive; it is also a symbol of the enduring spirit and resourcefulness of Myanmar’s peoples and their People’s Defence Forces (PDFs), their burgeoning alliances with the country’s long-established ethnic armed organizations (EAOs), and the unflagging public support for the struggle.

Aim:

The operation is directed against the State Administration Council, the military junta currently ruling Myanmar.

Objectives:

The primary objectives of Operation 1027 are to safeguard the lives of civilians, assert their right to self-defence, maintain control over their territory, respond resolutely to ongoing artillery attacks and airstrikes perpetrated by the State Administration Council.
