in the news?
● The
road to the seven volcanic summits in the world from Mararikkulam, a small
village in Alappuzha, is too short. Milasha Joseph, the 31-year-old
Mararikkulam native, has already conquered three of them and has set her eyes
on the remaining four to become the first woman in the country to achieve this
rare feat.

continents, just as the Seven Summits are the highest peaks on each of the
seven continents.
● Summiting
all seven is regarded as a mountaineering challenge, first postulated as such
in 1999.
