An Indian Army contingent is set to
participate in Exercise KHAAN QUEST 2026, a multinational peacekeeping
exercise hosted by Mongolia.
Highlights
1.
Khaan Quest is an annual multinational military
exercise hosted by Mongolia that aims to enhance interoperability and
preparedness for United Nations Peacekeeping Operations (UNPKO).

Background
I.
It is initially launched in 2003 as a bilateral
military exercise between the United States and Mongolia.
II.
From 2006 onwards, it evolved into a multinational peacekeeping
exercise with broader international participation.

Enhances UN peacekeeping capabilities

Builds capacity for humanitarian and peace missions
